2026.07.14 hololive DEV_IS Juufuutei Raden Collaborates with Thunderbolt Fantasy to Celebrate the Art of Taiwanese Glove Puppetry
TOKYO, JAPAN – COVER Corporation (Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Motoaki Tanigo) is pleased to announce a special collaboration between Thunderbolt Fantasy and hololive DEV_IS member Juufuutei Raden, the internationally acclaimed puppet fantasy series created through the collaboration with Taiwan’s PILI Glove Puppetry.
The collaboration also features Juufuutei Raden dressed in the costume of Cháo Fēng (Chō Fu), a popular character from Thunderbolt Fantasy. A specially crafted “Juufuutei Raden (Cháo Fēng Style)” puppet will make its first public appearance at the upcoming exhibition in Tokyo.
Following her collaborations with cultural institutions including The National Gallery, London, the Hakone Venetian Glass Museum, and the Tainan Art Museum, this latest project further expands Juufuutei Raden’s exploration of art and culture through the distinctive tradition of Taiwanese glove puppetry.

The specially crafted “Juufuutei Raden (Cháo Fēng Style)” puppet will make its public debut at the exhibition, which will be held at Yurakucho Marui in Tokyo from July 25 through August 9, 2026.
The venue will also offer collaboration merchandise featuring Juufuutei Raden, as well as limited-edition hand puppet collectibles created for this project.

Thunderbolt Fantasy 10th Anniversary Pop-Up Exhibition
Following the Tokyo exhibition, Thunderbolt Fantasy 10th Anniversary Pop-Up Exhibition will be held at 12 Cube, Syntrend Creative Park in Taipei from September 12 through October 12, 2026. Fans will be able to revisit memorable moments from the series while experiencing the artistry of PILI glove puppetry up close.
