2024.01.23 “Gurarium in Sendai Umino-Mori Aquarium” Collaboration with hololive English VTuber Gawr Gura Until February 29th!

The collaboration event, “Gurarium in Sendai Umino-Mori Aquarium”, will be open for a limited time starting from Saturday, January 20, 2024 to Thursday, February 29th, 2024.

During this period, the event will feature a specially drawn life-size panel as well as an exclusive welcome movie and introductions of creatures by Gawr Gura herself. There will also be a sardine show, “Sparkling of Life”, at The Sparkling of Life in the Ocean central tank with performances by dolphins and sea lions at the Umino-Mori Stadium, “STADIUM LIVE ~We Are One~”. The programs will feature Gawr Gura’s voice in the narration as well as music by hololive production. Collaboration food, drinks, and merch featuring never before seen illustrations of Gawr Gura are also scheduled for sale.

Enjoy narration by Gawr Gura during the dolphins, sea lions, and birds program “STADIUM LIVE -We Are One-”!

A song by UMISEA (a unit of hololive production that includes Gawr Gura) will also be used during the dolphins’ performance in the program “”Ocean wave Party☆Live”.

Sardine Show “Sparkling of Life”

The show “Sparkling of Life,” which features a large aquarium of sardines, will collaborate with Gawr Gura. To her original song, “REFLECT”, 25,000 sardines swim freely while sparkling in the sunlight, building a beautiful diorama of the Sanriku Seascape.

The audio guides by Gawr Gura introducing 7 exhibits in the aquarium are available in both Japanese and English languages. By listening to the audio guides, you will enjoy more and deeply understand about marine life on exhibit. The audio guides can be enjoyed by scanning the codes by your smartphone on each panel in the aquarium.
